We currently have an new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Credit Control Assistant reporting to the Finance Director
Full Time – Part Office / Part home based 37.75 hours a week
Location – Coventry
Salary – 22 – 25k (depending on experience)

Due to recent growth and future expansion plans, TruTac are now looking for an Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you will support the finance department and entire business.
The candidate ideally would be immediately available for work as we would like someone to start as soon as possible.
Credit control and keeping records up to date
Recording of receipts and payments
Transferring payments to different bank accounts
Maintaining high quality, providing accurate and timely information, while improving collections levels, reducing bad debt and ensuring KPI and SLA performance are achieved whilst focussing on high customer service.Learn new IFS system and assist in migrating from SAGE to IFS.
Manage ledger and chasing of debts to ensure payments are made to terms
Adhere to the Companies on Stop procedure
Interact with teams to ensure the timely resolution of queries
Allocate receipts against customer accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with the external customers
Improve cash flow and customer outcomes
Reduce average debt and average time to pay
Identify opportunity to reduce cost of recovery
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Excellent IT skills
Previous experience in a similar role
Must be competent in all aspects of credit control including query management
Good team player, combined with ability to work using own initiative
Desire to progress and develop professionally
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Intermediate Excel skills
SAGE and / or SAP or IFS knowledge
